Currently, we still have one of the VirtualBox integration tests that does not pass, but that should not be blocking for a release candidate to try it in the wild Test adaptations: - in service_test.go, we had to mock `Platform()` (by registering and choosing a mock `System`), so that it passes even on Linux/Systemd systems (there is a hardcoded rule that removes `--syslog` in that case, and that is part of the test). The only possibility is that the test or the change in code was introduced by someone not running with systemd (CI is in Docker containers, which usually don't have systemd either) - had to change the hashes in many tests due to 829d40d2ba12 - The `TestHelperImageRegistry` Docker integration test was missing its conditional skipping on Docker daemon readiness Build adaptations: - ci/release_docker_images is full of cases that are not useful to us and bring some confusion (removed ECR). Also is not flexible enough for us (no way to push a single os/arch, as we often need to for pre-release validation. It is time to rewrite it in a tighter form, with a decent programming language.
